Craft fairs with a focus on truly handmade, local items – you won’t find any imports or mass produced items at our craft fairs.
We hold a fair twice a month on average on a Sunday in Shere, just outside Guildford in Surrey.
Shere is a beautiful, quintessential English village located between Guildford and Dorking. The village offers visitors charming buildings, a stream with ducks, a small museum, two tea rooms, a gift shop, an old forge, an ice cream/coffee shop, two pubs, a 12th century church and a local co op handy for snacks and cold drinks. It gets extremely busy at weekends, and visitors are always happy to see free entry to the craft fair on their way from the car park to the village.
We carefully select the stallholders for our craft fairs to keep variety, and try not to have any more than three stalls per fair selling the same type of craft at each event.
Some of the crafts we have on offer at our events in Surrey include :
woodwork, glass, fabric gifts, candles, jewellery, paintings, crochet and knitting, metalwork, photography, pottery, wire sculpture
Bunting, Home made soft toys, Leather goods, commissioned portraits, ceramics, soap
textile art, clothing, home furnishings, slate, Dog accessories, pyrography, Felted animals, Macrame,
Pickles, plants and hot sauce, Seasonal decorations
We also try to have one charity stall per event (free of charge)
